What is Occupational Therapy?

Occupational therapy services incorporate physical techniques with specific, related activities such as practice routines, instrument or postural positioning/ adaptation, and organization of daily routines to directly enhance the activity of performing. Specifically, occupational therapy treatments may include:

  • Upper extremity neuromuscular strengthening, conditioning, and endurance training

  • Soft Tissue Mobilization

  • Hand therapy

  • Splinting

  • Myofascial Release

  • Physical agent modalities such as ultrasound, estim, iontophoresis
